You can imagine the internal debate I had when I decided to start sharing some marketing secrets; free "How to" Newsletters, cool tips that make instant improvements to the bottom line, detailed road maps on copy points, layouts, mistakes to avoid and more.
But I know coffee companies make coffee not ads, car companies make cars not commercials and retailers sell products not post social media.
There is a huge difference between being shown how something is done, and then doing it at all, let alone well. If simply showing how to do something well were the answer, then simply watching Picasso paint or James Martin cook would make everyone experts on everything. ( Mind, some people do think they are!).
So here's another secret to share with you.
Whatever your business is, share your knowledge and expertise with your customers, your prospects - show them what you are about.
It's all about building trust, and of course, Doing it Differently!
